As a Pre-Construction Senior Project Manager in Westminster, CO, you will
be responsible for fostering grid scale wind, solar, and storage projects
through the pre-construction phase of project development. Successful
execution of this position requires clear and consistent coordination of
multiple project stakeholders including developers, contractors,
vendors, owners, and financing partners.
Every day, you will provide project management coordination and support for
large and complex wind, solar, and storage projects during the
pre-construction phase of the project. You will be responsible for the
managing request for proposal (RFP) process for engineering,
procurement, and construction (EPC) services and manage commercial
aspects of all project related contract negotiations. You will also support
pre-construction activity including site studies, surveys, preliminary
engineering, and estimating and internal project capital expenditure
approval processes to secure budget for Project Delivery scope.
- Coordinate and support internal stakeholders including development,
engineering, interconnection, and power marketing teams with Capex input
requests.
*Coordinate and manage key project stakeholders including Balance of Plant
(BOP) Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor.
*Support major equipment (modules, wind turbines, batteries, and
substation) procurement processes.
*Participate in the negotiation of key project contracts including Major
Equipment Supply Agreements and BOP-EPC Agreement.
*Ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracking to plan.
*Continually assess project risk and maintain project Risk Register during
preconstruction phase.
*Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all parties
involved in the development and approval of the project.
What You'll Bring
* 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent combination of technical
training
* A minimum of 2 years of project management, procurement and/or heavy
construction experience
* Experience with various project & construction management software
tools, e.g., Procore.
* Demonstrated ability to be organized and work on multiple projects
simultaneously.
* Strong Microsoft Software Applications skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and Project).
* Superior leadership, communication, interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record of managing projects with results that meet all
stakeholder goals.
* Ability to problem solve and achieve results by setting priorities and
staying organized.
*Results oriented leader with the ability to work independently within a large
matrixed organization while effectively interfacing with the various
cross-functional employee groups.

Must be available to travel within North America Region up to 20% of the
time and with the need for some overnight trips

Compensation
Salary Range: $84,000 - $128,800 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry
knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus
