Job Description:To respond to and to perform non-invasive cardiac EKG
diagnostic tests on hospital inpatients and outpatients. To provide quality
handling of test data, and to assist physicians in accurate testing. The
incumbent will work with allied medical professionals and networked
Intermountain Healthcare facilities. Technicians will work with physicians to
provide quality EKGs.

Job Essentials
Conducts treadmill tests, including patient preparation, test
performance, and patient recovery.
Ensures correct lead placement and operates stress testing equipment,
including entry of applicable patient data.
Prepares reports of test results for interpretation by the physician.
Performs Holter scans, signal average electrocardiograms (ECGs), may
scan Holter acquisitions and review data to identify abnormalities.
Schedules patients for diagnostic testing and follows up to ensure completion
of testing.
Escalates non-routine issues to the practice manager or physician.
Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate
about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing or after
echocardiogram/stress testing.
Prepares testing rooms and maintains daily cleaning list.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS), required
One (1) year cardiovascular experience, required
Registered IBHRE certified within Five (5) years of employment), preferred

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate
dependent upon experience.$18.29 - $27.42
