Description
We are on the lookout for a diligent Bookkeeper to be part of our team located in Wheeling, Illinois, United States. In this role, you will be expected to manage account reconciliations, handle accounts payable and receivable, and oversee bank reconciliations. This is a contract-to-hire employment opportunity that offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Manage accounts payable to maintain accurate records and make timely payments
• Oversee accounts receivable to ensure prompt and accurate invoicing
• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial integrity
• Maintain an efficient bookkeeping system to ensure smooth financial operations
• Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain financial records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
• Facilitate the month-end close process to finalize financial transactions
• Process payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
• Operate QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
• Demonstrated expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
• Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations is needed.
• Must have a strong background in Bookkeeping.
• Data Entry skills are necessary for this position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience in Month End Close procedures is essential.
• The candidate must have experience in managing Payroll.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a requirement for this role.
