Immediate opportunity to work with a HR Benefits and LOA Operations team in supporting the management and administration of the disability plans, health plans (inclusive of medical, dental, life, spending accounts, and health savings accounts), as well as savings and retirement, and pension plans for U.S. and Puerto Rico employees and retirees. This team ensures all plan rules and policies are established and followed by our external vendors. They also ensure quality customer service is provided to our employees through vendor management and timely, accurate completion of all HR administered tasks. This position will be project work based primarily focused on developing and testing benefits business requirements (inclusive of identifying and executing upon process improvements), interface development and testing, and all benefits data conversion with respect to a payroll and time and attendance administrator conversion as well as derisking project(s) and benefits administration automation. This is a remote position that will require the selected candidate to travel at least twice a year. The selected candidate must be able to work in Eastern Time zone.

salary: $90 - $105 per hour

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Own developing and testing business requirements for payroll outsourcing project from an outsourced benefits administration perspective. This will require coordination between multiple external vendors as well as multiple internal teams.

  • Project manage and execute upon all aspects of assigned project work which could include (but not limited to): Pension de-risking, vendor change(s), Annual Enrollment, payroll conversion, benefit administration automation, pension administration historical data reconciliation and clean-up, eligibility interface development, benefits financial and demographic interface development and testing, acquisitions, divestitures, plan mergers, plan design changes, vendor, and legal compliance changes.

Must Haves

  • BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or closely related field required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education for a year-for-year basis

  • Minimum of 10 years progressive work experience in employee benefits administration required

  • Complex data/database and systems requirement gathering/documentation and testing experience in benefits and payroll outsourcing environment

  • Excellent critical thinking skills, willing to collaborate on a variety of topics.

  • Project Management experience

  • Benefits and/ or Payroll outsourcing experience is preferred
