Job Summary:

As a leader of the Whistler Blackcomb Employee Experience team, you will assist in delivering and improving employee services to ensure that our employees are provided with the basic services they require to build a great experience. Your organizational skills and outgoing approach will serve you well as you meet the needs of our employees.

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.98 / hour

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform a varying scope of duties including a mix of physical tasks such as re-stocking, inventorying and receiving and preparing shipments of uniforms. As well as desk work in order to evenly share tasks and ensure fairness amongst team

  • Coordinate all aspects of employee uniforms: distribution, collection, cleaning & repairs reporting, documentation of issued/ returned/ repaired or outstanding items, receive and inventory uniform deliveries accurately and restock as required.

  • Maintain proper cataloguing of inventory as uniforms are damaged and destroyed. Year-end account of ALL uniforms; maintain and update the uniform system to reflect uniform changes departmentally.

  • Overseeing and executing the Onboarding of all new and returning Whistler Blackcomb employees and updating their personal documentation and passes into the hiring system.

  • Daily reporting and regular auditing of employee data

  • Issuing employee, dependent and volunteer media ensuring to follow policy

  • Ensuring correct policy and procedures are followed and employees are compliant – including overseeing and entering of waivers and other important documents

  • Opening and closing procedures – maintaining security measures at all times. Making sure the team are also following the correct procedures, and following up if required.

  • Seasonal ramp-up and ramp-down: issuance of uniform, name tags, etc. ensuring a smooth on-boarding process.

  • Maintain and update the training manual and SOP’s, with the assistance of the team.

  • Familiarize yourself with the variety of computer software that is utilized by Vail Resorts – RPOS, People Soft.

  • Answer employee inquiries, questions and complaints in person, by phone and email and provide exceptional service and follow-up

  • Assist employee with payroll and IT inquiries ensuring to provide the correct resource and guide them where they can get further assistance with these issues

  • General administration and cleaning duties

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical duties such as carrying boxes up and down stairs, using ladders, lifting safely

  • Ability and willingness to commit to a year-round position

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly organized with strong ability to meet deadlines.

  • Extraordinary attention to detail.

  • 2 years previous experience in a fast paced, face to face, customer service environment.

  • Writing efficiency and computer experience with Microsoft Office (word, outlook and excel).

  • Strong administrative skills – knowledge of HR systems and Guest Connect is an asset.
