Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Web Experience in the retail industry, located in White Plains, New York. This role will involve overseeing user experience, search engine optimization, conversion rate optimization for our six web properties, and leading the team.
Responsibilities:
• Leading the product management and product strategy to drive the growth of our web properties.
• Overseeing the user experience (UX) to ensure our websites are user-friendly and intuitive to navigate.
• Managing the search engine optimization (SEO) to improve our website's visibility on search engines.
• Monitoring conversion rate optimization (CRO) to increase the percentage of website visitors who complete a desired action.
• Utilizing analytics to monitor and analyze website performance and make improvements.
• Implementing A/B testing to compare different versions of web pages and determine which performs better.
• Managing the backend development of our websites to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Overseeing the use of the Content Management System (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage our web content and customer relationships.
• Exhibiting executive presence and leading the team in achieving our web experience goals. Requirements • Proven experience in Backend Development, with a strong understanding of various programming languages and databases
• Proficient in using Content Management Systems (CMS), with the ability to manage and update website content effectively
• Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, with the ability to manage customer data and interactions
• Experience in AB Testing, with a focus on improving website user experience and performance
• Strong analytical skills, with a proficiency in using various Analytics tools to track website performance and customer behavior
• Previous experience in a senior role within the retail industry, preferably as a Director of Web Experience or similar
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and direct a team effectively
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various departments and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful web experience strategies in the retail industry. Innovation starts with people.®
