Overview:
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking a Part-Time Social Worker for our Health & Healing Services program. This position offers up to 21 hours per week with a competitive compensation range of $30.00-$35.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conduct intake and assessment sessions with referred clients.
Provide individualized care management as needed.
Facilitate individual and group sessions as needed.
Collaborate with synagogue staff and offer support as needed.
Provide assistance to Pathways to Care clients from the Rivertowns area.
Complete all required documentation, including monthly statistics, schedules, and surveys.
Refer clients to appropriate services such as home health care or clinical services.
Contribute to special projects and other tasks, as needed.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who have the following qualifications:
Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
In-depth knowledge of aging, family dynamics, illness, and end of life, and bereavement issues.
Strong knowledge of community resources.
Reliable transportation to attend meetings and travel between programs.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
