Industrial Diesel Mechanic As an Industrial Diesel Mechanic you will be responsible for providing maintenance and production support through troubleshooting and repairing and preventative maintenance of forklifts and other equipment.
Essential Functions & Requirements:
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
Performs preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities
Supports Operations and Receiving by repairing forklifts and other mobile equipment as needed
Follows all routine machine preventative maintenance schedules
Utilizes Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education:
High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience:
1+ years of diesel engine experience with a mechanical background (required)
Previous welding experience (preferred)
Competencies:
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Strong knowledge of industrial diesel mechanics concepts
Regular and predictable attendance to perform the essential functions and requirements of this role
