This position will include (and pay for) a 6 week A&P fast track training course and completion of testing to acquire your Airframe and Powerplant license. Candidates must already have their 8610-2 sign offs to test out for the A&P license; or already have their Airframe and Powerplant certifications.
Job Description
We are seeking former Military Personnel who have a signed 8610-2 application from a FSDO to join our team as Aircraft Mechanics.
This is a contract to direct hire opportunity where candidates will undergo a comprehensive onboarding process, including a 6-week A&P fast track training course, culminating in testing for their A&P license.
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on corporate jet aircraft.
Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, ensuring aircraft are safe and properly documented.
Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components according to approved technical data.
Ensure all departing aircraft comply with FARs and manufacturer manuals.
Essential Skills
Experience in repair and aircraft maintenance
Knowledge of aviation maintenance and military aircraft
Completion of 8610-2 documents
A&P Certification (not license) with 2 years of aircraft maintenance/systems experience

Work Environment
You will be working in a non-climate controlled environment at our facility in Wichita, KS. The work will be done in our service center where customers walk the floor. Shifts available are 1st (day) 6:42 AM - 3:12 PM, 2nd (evening) 3:42 PM – 11:12 PM, 3rd (nights) 11:12 PM - 6:42 AM, or 4th (weekends) Fri-Sun; 5 AM - 5 PM. The dress code is casual with jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
