Overview
KEYN is a heritage set of call letters and has been the market leader in
the classic hits format in Wichita for over 40 years. It is home to a
monster 100,000-watt signal. The station is highly engaged in the
community. It is a heritage brand with a loyal audience. The perfect
candidate needs to have a high passion level for the Classic Hits format
and a strong understanding of our listeners and the music. Morning show
experience is required. A self-motivated individual who will go above
and beyond to be successful and a sense of the Wichita community is
essential.
Responsibilities
What You\'ll Do:
- Perform a daily morning show Monday through Friday
- Must be able to communicate and relate to the target audience.
- Complete production, commercial, and imaging duties as assigned.
- Make remote appearances on behalf of the station.
- Other responsibilities commonly associated with an on-air
personality position.
- The ability to deliver a break with a real payoff to the listener
- Strong understanding of the format and target demo
- Great listening skills
- Execute social media marketing
- Proficient with Adobe Audition
- Proficient with Vox Pro
- Strong social and digital media engagement
- Coachable
- Ability to take direction
- Maintain quarterly issues report
- Interact with both internal and external customers

- Represent Company and radio stations in a highly respectable,
professional manner.
- Must be extremely organized and highly motivated.
- Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
