Job Purpose/Summary

The Visual Designer will collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams requiring a versatile design skillset across a wide range of visual mediums. For marketing support, they will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Communications, to develop digital and offline collateral aligned with Knowmadics goals. For UX/UI, theyll team up with Engineering, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Customer Experience Managers, and Customers to help create and deliver consistent experiences in line with our UX guidelines and UI components.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conceptualize, develop, and produce user-centered design solutions that meet business goals across various platforms, including but not limited to UI for web and mobile applications, presentations, sales and marketing materials, social media, email, data visualization/infographics, websites, proposals, print, and tradeshow designs.

Coordinate and implement projects from concept to delivery ensuring quality, consistent and relevant messaging, adherence to visual design guidelines, and meeting deadlines.

Collaborate with the internal Design team on workflow, assignments, and best practices. Develop and maintain design templates to streamline processes and ensure consistency across projects. Utilize hierarchy to organize content and elements within templates for clarity and visual appeal.

Assist in brand standards management including logos, color palettes, typography, brand elements, and guidelines visual brand usage.

Ensure brand consistency across digital and print mediums.

Maintain organized digital assets and art libraries.

Stay current and maintain knowledge on the latest visual design trends and best practices.

Coordinate the work of external vendors for digital and print design, illustration, production, photography, and video content as needed.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in a design discipline

Possess a high level of attention to detail

Possess strong communication and collaboration skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with team members, external vendors, and various levels of management

Strong initiative and an ability to organize assigned daily tasks and balance priorities

Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, required

Experience in Figma, required

Experience in WordPress, required

Experience in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,required

Ability to work independently in remote or office environment with little direct supervision

Portfolio of relevant design work

1-2 years experience in design

Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Working conditions

Should be willing to work in a variety of settings as needed and be willing to travel domestically as required. Flexible to work long hours as required.

Physical requirements

Prolonged periods of remaining in a stationary position at a desk and working on a computer.
