JPMorgan Chase Vice President Data Owner - Card Data Products in Wilmington, Delaware

As an Data Owner for Card Data Products established on AI/ML frameworks, you are critical to the firm's agenda of enabling the business to drive faster innovation through the strategic use of its data, while simultaneously ensuring that data is of good quality and well-protected.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create plans for the development and delivery of Data Products, to support strategic business objectives, accelerate incorporation of AI/ML capabilities in analytics, and develop metrics driven reporting.

  • Work with key partners to drive an understanding of the data and its use within the business. Provide subject matter expertise with respect to the AI capabilities and use of data in the product and associated business area.

  • Identify the scope of critical data within their product, ensuring that the prioritized data is well-documented as to its meaning and purpose, and classified accordingly with metadata to enable its understanding and control

  • Support the aligned Data & Analytics lead for their product by identifying data required to be integrated into analytics platforms to support analytics projects.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Partners and x-functional teams to resolve identified data issues in a timely manner

  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks for data in the product, including risks related to data protection, data retention and destruction, data storage, data use, and data quality

  • Comply with Firmwide policies, standards, and procedures related to the integrity and protection of data in the product

  • Meet set milestones for Data Product delivery by understanding and mitigating risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in the product development lifecycle with respect to data.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience working with Graph Databases, AI/ML tools, Public Cloud technologies and large scale Data Lakes

  • Experience with data consumption, data analysis and analytics use cases

  • 6+ years of industry experience in a data-related field

  • Understanding of Agile technological development methodology

  • Proven ability to execute via internal partnerships

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Structured thinker with good business acumen

  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior audience

  • Ability to understand and articulate complex business process to Data Product development teams

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Master's degree preferred

  • Experience working within a Credit Card organization

  • Experience and/or knowledge of the JPMorgan Chase data ecosystem

  • Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms and data architecture

  • AI/ML Certifications
