Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
PRIMARY FUNCTION :
Supervise help desk and serve as escalation point for support
as needed. Oversee Microsoft back-office environment, including account
creation/termination, license management, group policy, etc. Provide
remote/deskside technical installation, troubleshooting and support services.
Configure and troubleshoot computers and networking equipment including PCs,
switches, wireless access points, mobile devices, etc. Configure and
troubleshoot Windows clients. Provide excellent client service.
Duties &Responsibilities :
Include but is not limited to the following:
Provide remote and desk-side end user support, open support
tickets and address client requests
Maintain positive client communications
Diagnose IT and computer systems issues, hardware, software,
networking, server, VPN and operator problems
Provide detailed status updates, and completion information
to clients using professional services application on client service requests
Install, remove, test and configure operating systems,
software and hardware
Compile and maintain detailed documentation
Train users in the proper use of hardware and software
Research various solutions as needed
Requirements :
Excellent communication skills
Basic TCP/IP network troubleshooting
Basic Windows domain networking
PC Hardware and Software troubleshooting
MS Office and Microsoft 365
Anti-virus and anti-malware software
VPN remote access configuration & troubleshooting
Network printer troubleshooting
Active Directory user management
Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for
design and planning network communication systems
Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using
documentation and internet resources
Ability to work with all levels of IT staff inside and
outside the organization
Dependable and flexible when necessary
Non-Technical Skills & Experience
Ability to work in a disciplined, focused manner
Exceptional customer service skills
High self-organization skills
Ability to research and recommend new products
Required Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience as a Windows Help
Desk employee covering all or most of the requirements of work.
Ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members
and individual employees when resolving help desk issues.
Hands on experience with Windows domain setup of user
accounts, user groups, configuring security settings or access permissions for
groups or individuals, disabling and enabling accounts, file and folder
permissions.
Experience with administering and troubleshooting issues with
Windows 10, and Microsoft Office software including but not limited to Outlook,
Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Visio.
Experience with workstation and laptop maintenance for
updating software plus troubleshooting by email, in-person and remotely.
Experience with mobile device setup, configuration and
troubleshooting.
Due to the nature of this position, this position will be
required to be on-site with travel to off-site locations.
Compensation:
Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.
Hourly Wage $28.00 - $32.00
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
