Aerotek Industrial Painter in Winchester, Kentucky

Industrial Painter

Job Summary:

Painters use various painting techniques that will include but are not limited to wet paint spraying and several other techniques on metal parts. Material preparation such as sand blasting, cleaning, masking, among other techniques are required.

Job Duties:

  • Paint and apply finishing coasts in accordance to blueprints and/or customer specifications.

  • Set-up and maintain work areas and operate painting equipment in accordance with safety procedures.

  • Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance.

  • Load and unload parts or products onto fixtures.

  • Maintain clean work areas, tool repair and equipment inventory.

  • Inspect paint jobs and materials, adjust colors and fixing defects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1-2 years of experience as an Industrial Painter in a Manufacturing setting.

  • Familiarity with epoxy paint is a plus, epoxy & zinc are an even greater plus.

  • Candidate must have experience with Airless paint sprayers.
