Aerospace Parts Painter, Woodinville
$25-$28/ HR - Graveyard, 10 PM- 6AM
Description:
Prepare, paint, and detail aircraft parts to planning, drawing, and specification requirements under supervision
Select and weigh materials for hand or machine applications
Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality through visual inspections or by using viscometers; Verify mil thickness
Become familiar with and adhere to applicable BQMS procedures
Follow equipment and tool standard procedures
Maintain tools and paint cabin in a clean and orderly fashion
Be familiar with and adhere to proper and recommended use, storage, and disposal of paints, strippers, and other chemicals
Be familiar with and comply with safety and hazardous materials procedures as they apply to the workplace
Participate in lean, continuous improvement, and training as required
May occasionally perform special projects; Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-HVLP painting
-Auto body painter is highly preferred or aerospace industry
Competent knowledge and use of aerospace painting process tools and equipment
Competent knowledge of a broad spectrum of finishes (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics) used in aerospace
Familiar with computer-based MRP data entry
Blueprint reading and basic math skills
Good manual dexterity
Basic English language skills and ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions
Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others
Attention to detail
Willingness to learn
