Maintenance Planner
The Maintenance Planner is a member of a Value Stream Manufacturing team. This position is responsible for collaboratively working with others to plan and execute maintenance programs and build plans. Assisting with order placement and follow up related to purchased products, the Maintenance Planner will reinforce work order scheduling policy ensuring on time conforming product delivery.
Functions and Responsibilities
Execution of daily Maintenance department tasks as assigned.
Have a basic understanding of industrial manufacturing equipment.
Understanding of a maintenance environment.
Use Emaint CMMS software to schedule, issue, and manage maintenance work orders.
Analyze data within Emaint CMMS system to provide trends, KPI's, reports and recommendations to leadership.
Coordinate Emaint CMMS system administration for the division.
Drive process improvements through Emaint CMMS system.
Manage all maintenance inventory areas.
Analyze and optimize maintenance inventory to minimize overall square footage while maximizing machine uptime.
Schedule and manage maintenance contractors for onsite projects and machine repairs.
Ability to lead high performance teams (HPTs) around maintenance process improvements.
Support Production Control Analysts 2 and 3 as required to develop proficiency in all Basic Production Control Skills.
Ability to organize and manage multiple conflicting projects.
Ability to troubleshoot and recommend solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to present information effectively in a team environment.
Proficient with MS Excel.
Education, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in operations, business, engineering, or another technical field. (Preferred)
Previous experience with Emaint or other CMMS software preferred.
Manufacturing experience desired, preferably in a high-mix, low-volume environment
Proven ability to demonstrate good judgement and make effective decisions based on facts and information at hand.
Working Conditions
Use of protective clothing, goggles, helmets with protective lenses, and other equipment to prevent burns and eye injuries.
Physical Requirements
Must use appropriate personal protective equipment for the working conditions.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lb
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
