Are you ready to take your career to new heights? KBR is seeking a dynamic Program Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Dayton, OH, supporting groundbreaking initiatives for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). As a key player in several large-scale aircraft programs, you'll lead critical acquisition studies that shape the future of USAF weapon systems.
What You'll Do:
Lead OSD, HAF, and AFLCMC-level acquisition studies, driving major USAF weapon system program decisions.
Provide expert guidance and recommendations, shaping acquisition strategies for multiple program offices and senior staff.
Develop comprehensive program documentation to support milestone decisions and acquisition strategies.
What We're Looking For:
Extensive experience in USAF weapon system management.
Proven track record in ACAT I/II/III Program Manager functions.
Ability to provide strategic recommendations and tailor milestone requirements.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility team environment.
Requirements:
BS/BA degree and 20 years of experience in DoD/Air Force Acquisition.
Minimum three (3) years of experience as an ACAT I/II/III PM within the last 10 years.
Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in writing and responding to Federal and DoD Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Program Management Level II or III DAWIA certification.
Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 and AFLCMC Policies, Processes, and Procedures.
