Boehringer Ingelheim Supply Chain Management Team Manager in Wrocław, Poland

The position

Looking for a new professional challenge where you are responsible to build a new team and to prepare it for the smooth transition? As the Team Manager for Supply Chain Management, you will have the unique chance to be actively involved in the integration of our Supply Chain processes into GBS. You will be involved in recruitment activities, in onboarding and training and in setting up the team. You will focus on collaboration with relevant stakeholders and ensure, together with your team, a high-quality service delivery. The team is integrated in our Forecast to Cash Services Stream and reports to the Service Head.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • As the Team Manager for Supply Chain Management (SCM), you support in establishing the service integration in SCM to our GBS Center according to the defined transition roadmap.

  • Additionally, you will manage the team to prepare for the smooth transition and the delivery of potential new scopes.

  • In your role, you will be accountable for SCM services, managing and monitoring the team's performance to meet service level agreements, KPIs, quality standards, and taking appropriate actions.

  • You will be responsible for implementing and running standardized services in SCM, collaborating with the business to quickly onboard new services by improving KPIs and process analysis performance.

  • Furthermore, you will coordinate and drive continuous improvement within the team and work with other teams in Enabling Services to standardize and harmonize support-related processes.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating collaboration between sub-teams, stakeholders, and interfaces, ensuring a close link and open working atmosphere with supply chain teams in the business.

  • You will also ensure adherence to defined supply chain regulations and process descriptions and establish SCM services requested by business functions.

About our future employee

You should speak English very well and have several years of profound experience in Supply Chain management.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Master´s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, IT or in a comparable field of study

  • Extensive and strong Leadership skills, successful background in managing/leading people and/or projects in an international and cross-functional environment with various stakeholders, interfaces, processes, and systems

  • Good to extensive experience in SAP ERP/S4Hana, preferably with experience in Sales and Distribution and Materials Management

  • Profound background in process design linked to ERP processes

  • Project Management experiences; experience with agile methods and tools would be an advantage

  • Dedicated team player with strong communication skills, and a structured way of working
