Job Summary:

If you are a professional looking for an opportunity to work with the Global Emerson Systems and Software organization, this is an exciting opportunity for you. Based in SYSS Supply Chain and Global Distribution Xian Branch location, you will play a vital role in upholding the Tactical Procurement’s mission to ensure that there is continuous flow of material to support customer demand and ensure sales and customer satisfaction goals are achieved. This position will require direct engagements with the Global Supply Chain organization, EMS Operations team, Contract Manufacturer (EMS), Supplier Quality, Lifecycle and Manufacturing Engineering, Finance, Emerson local offices and Global Distribution Centers for on time delivery of Purchase orders and gaps are addressed timely.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Release accurate and timely Purchase Order (PO) to approved Supplier.

• Ensure Purchase Order dates are updated and accurate based on supplier delivery commitments.

• Review the status of all supplier delivery and determine the reasons for potential delays and proactively advise the supply chain to mitigate impact on demand fulfilment.

• Make timely and accurate decisions on delivery scheduling, quantity adjustments and cancellations to support business objectives.

• Advance supplier delays as needed to prevent impact to sales and on time delivery.

• Act on all Purchase Order issues relating to logistics, finance and quality and address them to the appropriate action owner.

• Analyze the impact of actions taken relating to Purchase Orders on inventory costs and provide inputs during the monthly review.

• Coordinate with relevant Supply Chain groups and assigned suppliers to ensure that the demand are fulfilled in a timely manner.

• Build collaborative relationship with assigned suppliers.

• Provide timely updates to internal Supply Chain teams on supplier delivery commitments.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience in Supply Chain-Manufacturing, Procurement or any related field required

• Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in either Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related courses

• Effectively provide support in a multilingual / multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of ERP/JDE/Oracle Systems is preferred.

• Intermediate to Advance level on MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

• Willing to work on flexible work schedules.

• Above average verbal and written English communication skills.
