As a Social Services Case Aide, you will assist and support the
provision of social service, case management, therapy and clinical
services for all children?s services students and families. Experience
in residential care of children or related human service area required.
Basic knowledge of child welfare, special education and human service
delivery systems. Excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to
work well independently and as a team. Basic computer skills required.
Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, valid driver?s license,
and the ability to handle children in crisis safely, with compassion.
Key Responsibilities: Schedule all clinical meetings for their allocated
case load including coordination with assigned clinician, school
district, state agencies, families, etc. Complete all ordering for
students including expenditure of vocational stipend and additional
needs identified by the student, family, and staff Monitor student
accounts and follow up with families as appropriate regarding balance
and financial needs Handle all aspects of visit scheduling (input on
calendar, confirm travel details, submit transportation request, confirm
staffing) Attend student meetings (MDTs, IEPs, treatment review)
Complete discharge follow-up for allocated case load and document
appropriately Assist in transportation of students to/from home visits
in collaboration with Scheduling Enter incident reports for allocated
case load in DCF portal Ensure documents are submitted and correctly
saved/labeled in the student files for all MDT and Quarterly meetings
Address family needs and concerns as needed Complete annual non-medical
consents for assigned case load Schedule and attend BSP meetings in
coordination with clinician and behavior technician Attend educational
and residential component meetings regularly Supervise visits as
dictated by DCF Maintain and update student IDFs and communicate changes
to administrative team for Fact Sheet Maintain and update student phone
call list for assigned case load Download music and content (as approved
and funded by parent or guardian) onto electronic devices Rotating
schedule of note taking at component meetings Fluent English speaking
and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time
management skills and professional appearance and demeanor are all
