Description: Actalent is currently searching for Controls/Electrical Engineers that will work within a large engineering group to create solid models of engineering specifications of control panels, wiring diagrams, and other electrical engineering needs for automation/controls engineering for industrial machinery. Primarily this candidate will be writing ladder logic code on Soft PLC (PC Based) and HMIs for OEM machinery. Little to no travel will be expected as this role is mainly based out of York, PA with some hybrid capabilities for a self-sufficient candidate. On-site role with flexibility for hybrid.
Duties:
Complete electrical design projects with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical
Designing electrical schematics
Designing panel layouts
Designing for manufacturing machinery and manufacturing environment
Development of electrical wiring diagrams
Generating relative BOMs
Skills & Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering
Experience with PLC/HMI
Panel Layouts
BOM
Allen Bradley
Beckhoff
Software
Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical preferred
Experience designing electrical schematics
Experience designing panel layouts
Understanding of designing for manufacturing machinery and manufacturing environment
Knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams
