. Pressing Machine Operator in York, PA
Job Description
The pressing machine operator will work in the Production/Pressing Department. Robots and press machines are used to make bricks at this location. Operators will load and unload molds into the machines and enter data for the correct brick into the computer system based on the daily 'mix sheet' that indicates the production schedule. This position involves working in teams of 3-4 people covering 2 press machines and operates in a faster-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Load and unload molds using a forklift and perform changeovers.
Enter information into the computer system accurately.
Move full carts of bricks and stack them on pallets.
Troubleshoot machines for basic issues before calling maintenance.
Perform a one-hour cleanup of the station at the end of each shift.
Essential Skills
Previous machine operating experience.
Forklift operation skills.
Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Mechanical knowledge and basic math skills.
Ability to navigate and operate a computer system.

Work Environment
Work in a facility with varying conditions. This is a 2nd shift opportunity with a rotating schedule: week days 3P-11P, weekends 7A-7P or 7P-7A.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.56 - $24.56/hr.
