A key offering from the Oracle Applications Cloud Suite, Procurement Cloud is a fast growing division within Oracle Cloud Applications and have a variety of customers. Procurement Cloud Development works on different complex areas starting from a complex search engine to a time critical auctions/bidding process to core business functionalities like bulk order processing, just to name a few.

An integral part of Procurement Cloud, Sourcing provides the next generation application for smarter negotiation, helps our customer leverage negotiation best practices, drive strategic saving initiatives and achieve bottom-line results. The team provides a dynamic, fast paced work environment and also takes pride in having filed a large number of patent applications, a clear testament of the creativity and innovation of the team members.

As a member of our team, you will use the latest technologies, including GenAI, REST, Visual Builder Studio, Oracle JET, Oracle SQL, JDeveloper, ADF, Oracle 12c Database, Service Oriented Architecture(SOA) and BPEL. In addition to gaining this technical experience, you will also be exposed to the business side of the industry. Developers are involved in the entire development cycle, so you will be working with the product management team to define the product’s functionality. Also you will interact with the customers to resolve their issues.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write code, complete programming tasks, and perform testing and debugging of applications.

  • Specify, design, and implement minor changes to existing software architecture.

  • Build highly complex enhancements and resolve intricate bugs.

  • Execute unit tests and unit plans, review integration and regression test plans created by QA.

  • Communicate effectively with QA and porting engineering to discuss changes, ensuring product functionality, quality, and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields.

  • 1-3 years of experience in building Java-based applications.

  • Good programming skills with excellent analytical and logical abilities.

  • Ability to design a feature from end to end and think creatively.

  • Practical knowledge of Java, OOPS Concepts, SQL, PL/SQL, REST, and Databases.

  • Persistence and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in JavaScript, VB, ADF, AI/ML, XML/XSL, Unix/Linux, and Scrum processes is a plus.
