Job Description

The Oracle Documentation Engineering (Doceng) organization is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer,

The Doceng organization designs, creates, implements and maintains Publishing Tools that are used for the creation, publishing, and delivery of Product Documentation to the Oracle Help Center (http://docs.oracle.com ). The Doceng Tools are used by User Assistance (UA) Information Developers (Technical Writers) to perform their daily task of creating, maintaining and delivering product documentation.

Responsibilities

The QA Automation Engineer’s responsibilities include:

• Ensure software quality on earlier phases of software development.

• Perform regression and smoke testing on critical products and processes.

• Perform sanity checks on products and processes that are updated constantly.

• Interacting and working with Development, UX and Management teams.

• Create and update automation test scripts for products and components.

• Manual testing for Web Applications and Backend Applications.

• Creation of Test Suites and Test Cases for products and processes.

• Testing on multiple platforms (Desktop and Mobile browsers).

Skills:

• Experience in Software Testing Practices and Methodologies.

• Experience in testing Web Applications.

• Experience in creating and implementing Test Cases and Test Suites.

• Knowledge in Javascript

• Knowledge and/or experience in Regression, Smoke and Sanity Testing.

• Knowledge in testing Web Services is a plus

• Knowledge in any Automation Testing Tool (Test Café, Cypress, Selenium, etc.). is a plus
