R&D QA Specialist (Zwolle Tech Center)

This position will support the Zwolle Tech Center from quality assurance perspective, covering different areas within QA management, but mostly focused in CAPA, Compliance and Continuous Improvement.

AS PART OF THE QA TEAM in Zwolle tech center, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Ensure compliance to site level policies and procedures by promptly reporting non-compliance issues to the area manager.

  • Provide support to assure that all quality system documents are accurate and drives continuous improvement to address gaps or increase efficiencies.

  • Gather and review quality data to develop reports, confirm acceptance and evaluate trends (i.e management review, quality investigations, pest control, etc.).

  • Understand and elevate issues related to quality. Alerting management about quality and compliance risks, ensuring necessary actions are taken.

  • Cultivating an “Always Audit Ready” culture through stakeholder engagement.

  • Support the internal audit program by conducting site audits as an auditor and participate in AQR audits when needed.

  • Provide support on finding investigations and definition of resolution plans. Assure Abtraq system is updated.

  • Provide support on CAPA System by participating or leading the investigations and resolution plans.

  • Audit release documentation for internal batches and research materials.

  • Support the pre-production process by acting as quality representative to review/approve work order documentation, recipes, reworks, etc.

  • Assist in writing, executing, and analyzing various types of protocols (i.e. engineering studies, verification protocols, qualification, commissioning etc.).

  • Provide assistance to projects as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • EDUCATION: A bachelor’s degree in health, biomedical, food technology, life science, engineering, or business. A master’s degree is preferred.

  • EXPERIENCE: Five years of experience in Quality management and Research and Development (R&D) is desired.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS and skills:

  • REGULATORY STANDARDS AND PRACTICES:

  • Familiarity with applicable regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements for manufacturing conventional foods, infant formulas, medical foods, and foods for special medical purposes (FSMP).

  • PROBLEM SOLVING:

  • Good at problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • OTHER

  • Excellent at writing and developing reports.

  • Availability to work under pressure
